- nüCamp Launches Cirrus 920 Elite Truck Camper: For 2026, the nüCamp Cirrus 920 is getting an upgrade. The all-new model that launched this week now goes by the name Cirrus 920 Elite and includes some very nice improvements. For starters, the slide-in model now has a dry weight of under 4,000 lbs., while still maintaining durability, efficiency, and comfort. The rig comes with high-quality soft-close cabinets, an Alde heating and hot water system, a dry bath, and more—including a 30-amp shore power plug and a 100Ah lithium battery. - Tech Start-Up to Launch Hybrid Gas/Electric Towable in 2026: A team of former employees from power solutions company Anker are planning to launch a new hybrid travel trailer next year. The vehicle is called the Evotrex and will apparently come with a large lithium-ion battery pack to power its appliances, HVAC, lighting, and other features. But the rig will also reportedly include a built-in gas generator that can be used to recharge the batteries while camping off-grid. The trailer will make its official debut at the 2026 Consume Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January, with plans to go on sale late in the year. Learn more at the Evotrex website.

- Redarc Reveals New Gadgets at SEMA: Redarc Electronics was in attendance at the SEMA show this week and had a couple of really great-looking new products to share with attendees. Those included the new Tow-Pro Link, which is a high-tech Bluetooth electronic brake controller, and RedWorks Power Panels, which are compact and efficient pre-wired power management systems for OEMs and vehicle models. The Tow-Pro is reportedly a plug-and-play system that gives owners the ability to monitor and adjust the brake controller directly from their smartphone, while the RedWorks products make integrating power management systems quick and easy. - The Least RV-Friendly Cities and States in the US (According to Jalopnik): This week, Jalopnik—a website dedicated to cars and driving culture—shared its picks for the least RV-friendly destinations in the US, with places like New York City, New Jersey, and Utah earning that dubious distinction. The site offers reasoning behind naming these locations—and others—to its list. Read why here.

- Grand Design Now Offers a Seamless Composite RV Room System: RV roofs have always been problematic, often requiring lots of maintenance and care to ensure they don’t spring a leak that could damage the entire vehicle. But Grand Design has a new solution that was developed in collaboration with TekModo that promises to make those worries a thing of the past. The new roof is made from a single seamless piece that eliminates joints and minimizes points of vulnerability. The roof makes its debut in the company’s Solitude, Momentum, and Influence fifth-wheels, adding durability and extending their lifespan. Find out more on the Grand Design website.

- RVIA Shares Insights on RV Camping Trends: As we head into the holiday season and the start of a new year, the RV Industry Association (RVIA) is sharing some interesting insights and trends from its latest Holiday Travel Intention Survey. According to the organization, more than 28 million Americans plan to go camping this winter, which is up 33% from last year. Furthermore, 39% of all leisure travelers say they plan to take an RV trip in the coming year, while over half of RV owners say they’ll use their rig as guest accommodations at Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. And in another sign of the times, 40% of respondents indicated they now use AI to help plan their trips. Read more here.

- Coachmen Launches Annual Holiday Food Drive with “Fill a Remote RV” Incentive: I think it’s safe to say the team at Coachmen RV is dedicated members of the Middlebury, IN community. Case in point, the company is launching its annual food drive next week, bringing in valuable and important supplies to support the Middlebury Food Pantry. This year, the RV manufacturer is parking one of its rigs outside its Plant 10 facility, making it the focal point for all donations. To that end, Coachmen is inviting generous donors to help “Fill a Remote RV” as part of this food drive. Donations will be accepted starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, and running through noon on Friday, November 14. The goal is to completely fill a Coachmen Remote travel trailer with nonperishable food items over that time.
That’s all for this week. See you next Friday for another edition of our weekly RV news roundup.
