Gas Prices Are Dropping

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

Fuel prices are declining across the country due to lowered demand, as motorists are
driving less, more refineries are online and supplies have increased. Experts predict
prices will continue to drop more between now and Thanksgiving.

Prices dropped for a third
consecutive week across Texas, according to AAA Texas’ Weekend Gas Watch. It reported
prices dropped by as much as 16 cents in one week to average $2.53 for regular
self-service. The national average for regular self-serve gasoline is $2.571 a gallon,
which is 14 cents less than last week’s average. Gas prices have dropped to as low as $2.39
in Georgia and Alabama, and sank to $1.99 in Oklahoma City.
