Toyota is recalling 22,228 model-year 2005 Tacomas for parking-brake problems. The recall
only affects Tacomas with automatic transmissions. A lock nut on the parking brake that may
not be tightened properly can loosen and fall off, leading to a loss of braking. The
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received eight complaints, but no
reports of injuries.
