Taking RVing to the Next Level

The name reflects exactly what Holiday Rambler’s all-new RV/toy hauler is – the Next Level.
Designed for enthusiasts who enjoy the luxury-RV lifestyle, the Next Level is offered in
one travel-trailer and two fifth-wheel floorplans. The model we looked at was the 37-foot,
102-inch-wide 37CK fifth-wheel. It features a triple axle designed to accommodate the
hauling of up to four adult toys, including all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), motorcycles,
snowmobiles or personal watercraft. “We’ve done our homework and feel the market is right
for a toy hauler of Holiday Rambler quality,” said Brad McKinney, national sales manager of
Holiday Rambler Towable Products. “To the Next Level we bring Holiday Rambler’s 50 years of
building recreational vehicles that are engineered with comfort and durability. For many
buyers, this really is the Next Level in toy haulers.” Using Holiday Rambler’s patented
Alumaframe construction that features six-layer walls, a nine-layer roof, a gross vehicle
weight rating (gvwr) of 17,000 pounds and a manufacturer’s 6,300-pound net carrying
capacity, the Next Level is capable of carrying large amounts of cargo and toys, plus 120
gallons of fresh water, 50 gallons of gray water and 50 gallons of waste. Outfitted with
40- and 20-gallon auxiliary gasoline tanks, the Next Level features a refueling station for
the toys and a fuel source for the 5.5-kW Onan gas AC generator that makes dry RV camping –
an essential part of enjoying adult toys – a reality. A rubber-dressed, low-maintenance
interior cargo-area floor with strategically placed tie-down rings accommodates toys in
transit. One adult easily manipulates a spring-loaded ramp/rear wall when it comes time to
off-load or reload the toys, and diamond-plate kick panels protect the interior walls from
potential wheel scuffs. Cargo areas above the streetside wall and above the forward galley,
with restraining nets, hold copious amounts of gear, such as helmets, riding boots, etc.
Once a campsite is reached and the toys are unloaded, the area reserved for hauling toys
quickly converts into a comfortable, highly livable venue that is well-appointed with the
features that make the luxury RV lifestyle unique. Traffic-resistant industrial-grade
carpet quickly rolls out to cover the cargo area floor. A plush ultraleather upholstered
sofa and two dinette bench-style seats, along with a table, fold down from against the
walls where they are kept while hauling the toys. Both make into double beds. The
queen-size bed stowed against the ceiling at the rear of the hauler is electrically lowered
(and raised), bringing into service yet another sleeping area. A 27-inch television and
overhead cabinets line the curbside of the unit. The Next Level’s full-service galley
includes a two-way refrigerator/freezer, a three-burner cook-top with oven, a microwave
oven and a double galley sink with countertop and cabinets. The galley floor is dressed
with vinyl. As with most fifth-wheels, the forward landing on the Next Level is reserved
for a bed/bath suite. Equipped with a slideout room that houses a queen-size bed, the
landing includes a toilet, a full shower and a lavatory/cabinet complex. A large dresser
yields storage that’s exceeded in capacity only by the full wardrobe that stretches all the
way across the front of the unit. At this writing, retail pricing for the Next Level had
not yet been determined. Holiday Rambler, (800) 245-4778, holidayrambler.com
