We shared plenty of details about the all-new Winnebago Arka when it was first revealed a week or so back, but as usual, there is nothing quite like seeing it with your own eyes. If you attended Overland Expo West this past weekend, you probably had the chance to go inside the rig to check it out for yourself. But for those of us who were unable to make that event, we have the next best thing—a detailed video walkthrough hosted by Arka Product Manager Stefanie Whittington.

As noted in our previous coverage, the Arka rides on a Ram 5500 4×4 chassis with a 6.7L diesel engine. It comes equipped with off-road tires, an upgraded suspension, dual 480-amp alternators, and a tow rating of up to 15,000 lbs. Outstanding insulation, a hydronic heating system, and heated holding tanks and floors keep the truck comfortable and warm, even in winter conditions. The vehicle comfortably sleeps four, comes with an innovative shower, and has an efficient and modern galley kitchen. An upgraded overlanding package adds 800W of solar, a 7500Wh Lithionics house battery, and a 6500W 51V Lithionics alternator to unlock off-grid camping and energy independence.

The video above takes you through all of these features and many, many more. It is our best look at the Arka yet, with a thorough walkthrough of the vehicle inside and out. It also demonstrates how thoughtful and careful Winnebago was with the design of the adventure truck as the company enters a segment of the RV market that is relatively new for the brand. As usual, Winnebago’s attention to detail and outstanding build quality are on display, with lots of small, but important touches, that will help the 4×4 stand out from the crowd.
And after you’ve watched the video, head over to the Winnebago website for all the details on the Winnebago Arka, an adventure truck that is aiming to shake up the industry.
