The Kitchen

The review begins in the heart of any home and RV – the kitchen. The kitchen in the Cedar Creek is anchored by a giant kitchen island – nearly 5’3” in length (Tiffany measured against her own height!). The island features a dual sink with a swivel faucet. And, when you need more counter space, two sink cover plates—in the same material as the counter—allow you to take advantage of the whole surface.

Behind the island is a four-burner range with an oven and there’s a convection microwave, plus a great view of wherever you happen to be courtesy of a wide, landscape-view window.

The kitchen also offers the same, if not more, storage of a traditional home with wide cabinets, plus a convenient, accessible pantry for dry goods. Tiffany, again at just 5’3” is still able to reach the top shelf. There’s also plenty of storage under the sink. Tiffany puts herself up to the test by actually climbing (and fitting) inside. Finally, the four-door fridge/freezer is spacious and convenient. Dividing the freezer into two sections makes picking out special meats or frozen meals simple.

Living and Entertainment Area

The open living/entertainment area continues the trend of space, comfort, and luxury with a three-cushion sofa spacious enough for Tiffany to lie completely down on. And, if Tiffany decides to share, the sofa pulls out into a sleeper that sleeps two (or maybe three if you ask Tiffany). The sofa is surrounded by windows – for a 180º viewing experience. Adjacent to the sofa are two recliners that practically fold flat.

Forest River keeps the touches of luxury and comfort going with an electric fireplace – with options for mood lighting and temperature control. This is not only luxurious but convenient, especially if you plan on doing some winter camping. And, of course, what would an entertainment area be without a TV. The Cedar Creek has a 50” flatscreen television—perfect for movie nights or displaying any footage or action you capture from your day of adventuring.

The Bedroom

It’s hard to believe with all the space of the kitchen and living area that the bedroom, too, is just as spacious. But, it is. A king-sized bed is the focal point of the bedroom – complete with plenty of storage underneath. Two windows allow you to wake up to a sunrise and provide a constant stream of daylight and nature, while still maintaining the privacy you want from a sleeping area.

The bedroom also has a walk-in closet, complete with a washer/dryer hook up. You’ll have plenty of room to store all your clothes and, with a hanging rack that extends the entire width of the closet, you can hang up the clothes that just don’t do well being folded up.

The Bathroom

The bathroom, just off the master bedroom is sleek and convenient – a dual faucet sink provides enough room for two to get ready at the same time. The porcelain toilet features a foot flush—a space-saving measure as well as a sanitary one. The full-size shower has plenty of room to move around in, and, speaking of room, the bath has plenty of storage for towels and toiletries.

Exterior

Back outside, the Cedar Creek features lit awnings for a little shade and a lot of style. The exterior also has access to basement bays for storing whatever you need to bring along on your next big outing.

The Cedar Creek fifth wheel by Forest River is a luxury fifth wheel that doesn’t compromise – not on space in each and every room, not on style, and certainly not on convenience. Learn more at forestriver.com.
