What better symbol of the season than Bambi, the famous fawn? Like the storied precocious baby deer, the Airstream Bambi travel trailer may be diminutive, but there’s so much more to it than its size. And considering the 1,100 pounds of cargo capacity, this Bambi is just like the other: larger than life.
Storage
In fact, the 22FB floorplan boasts a lot of “bests” for the Bambi lineup, including a GVWR of 5,000 pounds, the largest footprint on a single axle in its lineup, and the most storage space of any Bambi floorplan. The latter is achieved via several overhead storage compartments, under-bed access, and a surprisingly spacious wardrobe.

Sleeping Quarters
Continuing the bigger-is-better theme, a large 54-by-80-inch pillow-top memory foam mattress sits near a large panoramic front window, and the U-shape dinette converts to a bed, upping the 22FB’s sleeping accommodations to four.
Bathroom
The spacious, fully equipped bathroom runs the entire width of the rear of the trailer, with a roomy standalone shower occupying one corner, and a generous countertop and sink in the other. And remember this is an Airstream, after all. It’s outfitted with a top-notch kitchen including a double sink, microwave, refrigerator, and even dish storage.
Other highlights include LED lighting, solid-surface counters, and upgraded entertainment options and furniture. Iconic, sophisticated, and still in vogue to this day, just like the animated classic.
