Tiffin Brings Back the Allegro Bay Line
New RV is a Lux Super C Motorhome with Plenty of Amenities
Tiffin Motorhomes is relaunching one of its most popular lines of RVs. The company has unveiled an all-new version of the Allegro Bay, a Super C motor coach that offers upscale features and amenities for extended adventures.
Built on a 39-foot Freightliner chassis, the RV includes an air suspension and full-time traction control to its rear-wheel-drive system. Under the hood, the motorhome features a Cummins B6.7 diesel engine that produces 360 horsepower and 800 pound-feet of torque, allowing the Allegro Bay to tow up to 12,000 pounds. That makes it a viable option for RVers looking to pull a second vehicle, trailer, or toy hauler.
Tiffin offers the redesigned Allegro Bay in two floor plans—one that includes a full bath and another with a bath and a half. The RV comes with a 150-gallon freshwater tank, a 70-gallon gray water tank, and a 45-gallon black water tank. The standard model also includes a 24-gallon propane tank, although there is an option to upgrade to an all-electric coach, eliminating the need for propane altogether.
Other onboard amenities include two air conditioning units, a Truma AquaGo Comfort instant hot water heater, a washer/dryer combo, and an eight-kilowatt Onan diesel generator to provide power while boondocking. The integrated Spyder multiplex control system makes it easy to adjust HVAC settings and monitor the status of the built-in batteries and various water tanks. An AquaView ShowerMiser conserves both fresh and gray water.
Tiffin equipped the kitchen with a three-burner stove, which an induction model replaces with the electric coach upgrade. A solid surface countertop provides plenty of space for meal prep, while a double sink makes clean-up a breeze. A convection microwave comes standard, but a dishwasher is an optional add-on.
The Allegro Bay’s exterior features a factory-installed Girard awning equipped with LED lights, a TV, and a sound system. The RV’s pass-through storage compartments—which include built-in interior lighting—should make accessing cargo quick and easy. Tiffin has also given the motorhome six distinctive paint schemes that allow it to stand out at the campground.
Optional upgrades include high-capacity lithium batteries, an integrated Wi-Fi system, and a satellite dish. Buyers can also choose to add up to three solar panels to provide additional power at off-grid campsites.
The new Super C RV will be available this year. Visit the official Allegro Bay website for more information.
