Friday is here at last, which means it’s almost time to get the weekend started. But before we head off for a few days, we have just enough time to cover all of the big stories from the RV industry this past week. Welcome to another edition of our Friday RV news round up. Here are a few things you might want to know about:

  • Storyteller Overland Unveils TOUR MODE Class B Camper Van: Don’t look now, but Storyteller Overland is up to its old tricks. The Alabama-based company took the wraps off a new model this week that promises to be quite an addition to the brand’s already impressive stable. Dubbed the TOUR MODE, this rig is designed for life on the road with plenty of comfort and amenities. This camper van is built on the Mercedes Sprinter 170″ 3500 chassis and comes with a queen-size bed, a versatile seating area, a wet/dry bath, and a 16.8kWh power system for off-grid adventures. See it in action in this slick YouTube video.

  • GearJunkie has an exclusive first look at the new Supertramp Campers Overlanding Rig: The market for ready-made overlanding campers with rugged designs and plenty of amenities continues to get bigger and more interesting. This week, Supertramp Campers revealed its new Paragon model, via an exclusive first look with our friends at GearJunkie. The new model slots into the company’s lineup between its slide-in truck campers and its higher-end expedition vehicles. It rides on a one-tone Ford SuperDuty chassis, includes custom Carli shocks and 35″ Toyo AT3 tires, and comfortably sleeps four people. Its starting price is around $189,000 and will officially debut at the upcoming Overland Expo West later this year.

  • Overlander Camper Ridge XT First-Look: While we’re on the subject of overlanding vehicles and Gearjunkie, the outdoor-focused website has been busy on the RV front this week. In addition to covering the Supertramp Paragon reveal mentioned above, they also gave us a first-look at the new Overlander Camper Ridge XT, which we covered on RV.com last week. The 4×4 rig rides on the Ford E-Series platform and includes Bilstein shocks, all-terrain tires, insulated walls, and a fully walkable roof. Features include a three-burner propane stove, a microwave, 400W of solar, a 20k BTU furnace, a 13.5K BTU A/C unit, and both an indoor and outdoor shower. Check it out here.

  • Winnebago Owners Rally Delayed Until 2028: In other Winnebago news this week, the company announced that after postponing its popular Camp Winnebago event in 2025, it is planning to bring the annual gathering of owners back in 2028. That may seem like a long way off at this point, but that year also happens to coincide with the brand’s 70th anniversary, so you know there are big plans in the mix. As usual, the next edition of Camp Winnebago will take place in Forest City, IA. Stay tuned for more information.

  • New Survey Shows How Starlink Users Tap Into the Service: We’ve often said that Starlink satellite internet has been a game changer for RVers, but now we actually have proof. A new survey of users shows that the service  has become indispensable for many, providing a reliable connection even in remote places. The survey was conducted by TRIO Flatmount, and included almost 600 Starlink customers around the world, with 47% saying they depend on the service for remote work and income while on the go. 37% of those respondents were RVers, with another 11% saying they incorporated Starlink into their van builds. Perhaps most interesting was that 85% say price was not a primary factor in their decision to use the service, showing that it offers outstanding value for those who need it. Find out more here.
