  • Go RVing Brings Florida RV SuperShow to the Masses: Last week’s Florida RV SuperShow was a big event for the industry, with every major manufacturer on hand showing off the latest models in their catalog. But the location and timing of the show make it a challenge for most RVers to get to. Thankfully, Go RVing was on hand in Tampa to help promote the expo by conducting an on-site media tour, that by all accounts was wildly successful. This week, the organization said that it helped generate more than a dozen local news segments in large markets across the country, including New York, Boston, Atlanta, Seattle, and others. This effort to promote the RV lifestyle reached millions of people with the hope of inspiring them to attend one of the many upcoming RV shows in their area. RV News has more here.

  • RVers Flocked to Tampa for RV SuperShow: Speaking of the Florida RV SuperShow, the attendance numbers for this year’s event are out, and they’re impressive. This week, organizers for the event told RV Business that 70,100 people attended the event in Tampa, which is a nice increase over the 68,000 that dropped by last year, but still well below the pandemic-fueled RV frenzy of 2022, which saw more than 80,000 attendees. Still, the mood at the expo was one of cautious optimism as the industry moves ahead in the coming months.

  • RV Life Dinghy Towing Guide: Bringing a dinghy vehicle along on your RV adventures is one of the best ways to explore a destination, giving you a smaller, easier-to-park option when wandering out of the campground. But dinghy towing can also be a semi-complicated affair, requiring not just the proper equipment but the proper vehicle. This week, RV Life published its 2026 Dinghy Towing Guide to help demystify that process. The article also shares a comprehensive list of the current vehicles that are designed to serve as dinghies. • Campspot Reveals Top Destinations for Finding Community and Connection: Travelers looking for a bit more of an inclusive and welcoming connection to the places they visit might want to check out the Campspot 2026 Togetherness Index. This report names the top 12 US cities, in four distinct regions, that are the best places for those seeking a deeper sense of community and connection. A few of the places that made the list include Yuma, Arizona; Bend, Oregon; Key West, Florida; and Lake George, New York. The online campsite booking platform made its selections based on the destinations that are most searched for in its database from the past year, and measures other factors like group travel volume, length of a traveler’s stay, and year-over-year increases in the volume of bookings.

Toyota has been a sponsor of The Dyrt’s Camping Reports, which are frequently released throughout the year to share insights, trends, and stats on how outdoor enthusiasts are traveling, what activities they seek, how often they camp, and much, much more.
