- 27North Launches TR-27 Expedition Truck: While an increasing number of RV manufacturers have started leaning into the overlanding space, companies like 27North have been redefining what that market looks like. Case in point, this week the brand launched the new TR-27, an expedition truck that rides on the Ram 5500 4×4 chassis and comes custom-built to take on nearly any off-road adventure. The rig ships with a 5kWh lithium house battery, 350W of solar, a 100-gallon freshwater tank, and a fuel tank large enough to travel 800+ miles. Inside, the truck offers plenty of comfortable amenities, too, including a king-size bed, a wet bath with a cassette toilet, and a fully-equipped galley kitchen. Pricing for the four-season camper starts at $575,000. Find out more here.

- Thor Reorganizes North American Operations: We tend to avoid too much talk about the business side of the RV industry, preferring to leave that to our more qualified colleagues. But one of the biggest stories of this past week is the reorganization efforts taking place at Thor, where the company is consolidating all of its North American efforts into two groups. One of those groups will fall directly under the Jayco umbrella, which will include Tiffin Motorhomes moving forward. Meanwhile, the second group will consist of Thor Motor Coach, Keystone, Dutchman, and Crossroads. Read more about this important shift in the industry here.
