  • Entegra Coach Embark Makes Time’s Best Inventions of 2025 List: We’ve been following the developing story around the Entegra Coach Embark since it was known as the Thor Test Vehicle last year. But the RV manufacturer took the wraps off of this new Class A model a few weeks back, revealing an electric chassis made in conjunction with Harbinger Motors that gives it a range of up to 125 miles on battery alone and as much as 450 miles using a gas-powered range-extending generator. Now, the coach has gotten attention beyond the RV industry, with Time magazine calling it one of “The Best Inventions of 2025.” See what the iconic mag had to say about the Embark here.

  • Gulf Stream Reveals Conquest Transit 4237 Class C Model: Class C coaches are all the rage right now, and Gulf Stream has an intriguing new model to throw into the mix. The company recently revealed its new Conquest Transit 4237 model, which, as the name implies, rides on the Ford Transit platform. The rig comes with an expanded cabover sleep space, a jack-knife sofa, a two-burner cooktop, microwave, and more. And to ensure safe driving over rough terrain, it even sports all-wheel drive. Check it out here.

  • nüCamp Shares More Details on Haven Travel Trailer: A few weeks back, we mentioned that nüCamp had revealed a new travel trailer called the Haven at the Elkhart Open House event in Indiana. This week, we received more info on this model, including some of the features owners can expect from the towable. Those include floor plans with both queen and twin beds, a four-person dinette, lots of windows, a hydronic heating system, Battle Born lithium house batteries, and copious amounts of storage. Best of all, dry weights start at 3,933 lbs, making this a lightweight option that can be towed by an SUV or mid-size pickup. Full specs and details can be found here.

  • Winnebago and McDonald’s are Giving Away RVs: For the first time in over a decade, the Monopoly game has returned to McDonald’s. As in the past, the fast-food giant is giving away plenty of free drinks, snacks, and sandwiches, as well as other prizes. This time out, that includes several Winnebago RVs. Anyone who collects the Park Place (#821) and Boardwalk (#822) game pieces will win a Winnebago View 24D coach. Additionally, those who scan the Monopoly codes in the McDonald’s app will be eligible for a bonus play game where they could walk away with a Winnebago Thrive 18FBS travel trailer. Good luck!

  • NBC Says More Americans are Living in RVs: As economic challenges grow and affordable housing becomes harder and harder to find, more people are turning to RVs as an alternative. That’s according to a new report from NBC News, which profiled several individuals and families who have turned to this alternative option, possibly to find it isn’t as inexpensive as they may have hoped. It’s an interesting look at how recreational vehicles are appealing to a wider audience, many of whom aren’t prepared for the challenges. Check the story out here.

  • California Bill Expands Camping Possibilities: This week, California passed Assembly Bill 518 (AB 518), which grants counties greater authority to allow small-scale, low-impact camping on private lands. The goal is to provide more accessible camping options, while supporting landowners who want to open up their property to short-term camping opportunities. The new law rolls back previous legislation that stifled those opportunities in the past and made it hard for campers to find easily accessible outdoor spaces. RV Pro has more details here.
Overland Expo East

  • Overland Expo East was a Big Success: Overland Expo East took place in Arrington, VA, last weekend, bringing a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the event. As is typical for an OEX show, there was a lot to see and do, with vendors, gear, and vehicle manufacturers, and thousands of attendees on hand. Alli Jackson of The Compass—Overland Expo’s in-house newsletter—shares more details of what all went down in her post-event report here.

That’s a wrap for this week’s edition of our weekly recap of the biggest news from the RV and camping industries. See you next Friday for our next recap of the latest stories, updates, and announcements.
