Northwood’s Arctic Fox Edge 26MK Delivers Four-Season Performance and Comfort

Northwood has done it again. With the introduction of the new Arctic Fox Edge 26MK to its lineup, the company has added yet another outstanding travel trailer to its already deep catalog of four-season towables. And while this model exhibits plenty of the traits we’ve come to expect from a Northwood RV, it also has more than a few features that help it stand out from the crowd.

As usual, the Arctic Fox Edge 26MK rides on a custom-built Northwood Ironhorse Chassis. This gives it a rugged and durable platform designed for taking on tough terrain, which is further enhanced by a set of off-road tires. The trailer’s fully-welded aluminum frame construction and laminated multi-layer substrate walls are also built for going anywhere, while providing ample protection from the elements. This four-season totable is well insulated and includes heated holding tanks, a 30,000 BTU auto-ignition furnace, and a 13,500 BTU air conditioner for camping in any weather.
Other external features of note include an outdoor entertainment center with a TV and a mini-fridge with an ice maker. A set of outdoor speakers brings a festive mood to the campsite, while an 18” awning with LED lighting provides shelter from the sun. The AFox Edge 26MK even comes with 1,000W of roof-mounted solar panels as standard equipment, ensuring everything stays powered on even while traveling off-grid.

Inside, you’ll find a well-designed floor plan centered around a mid-kitchen layout. The spacious galley includes a three-burner stove, residential microwave/air fryer, an efficient 12V refrigerator, and stainless steel sink complete with high-rise faucet. A large dinette pulls double duty, converting into a guest bed when needed. A comfy sofa sits opposite a 32” smart TV, while a pullout pantry and custom cabinetry offer a surprising amount of storage.
The primary bedroom sits at the front of the trailer and comes with a king-size bed, two integrated reading lights, USB charging ports, shelves, nightstands, and even more storage. The 26MK’s bathroom is found in the rear and includes a porcelain toilet, a stainless steel sink, a large corner shower, and a massive linen closet. The trailer even comes with a mud room in the entryway that is outfitted with a wooden bench and wall-mounted hooks for hanging coats and jackets. Northwood’s FoxForward multiplexing system provides quick access to lights, climate, power, and more.
