Kathy Ireland Partners With Camping World To Launch an RV Seating Line

Since a large part of RVing is kicking back when you come inside from a day of adventure, you want the furniture to provide a comfy place to park yourself and unwind. And what better person to design that furniture than an RVer? Author and entrepreneur (not to mention supermodel and actress) Kathy Ireland grew up camping, and RVing is a passion and a way of life for her family.
Kathy says she is blessed to be able to travel in them all, “from Sprinter vans to luxury coaches.” She maintains that her first “RV” was a boat that played a big part in helping her catch the love of her life, her husband, Greg.
Started in 1998, the kathy ireland Worldwide (kiWW) furniture line is expanding to RVs with kathy ireland Recreation & Adventure RV furniture that is exclusive to Camping World RV & Outdoors and Gander RV & Outdoors. Available online and in stores, included are a variety of recliners, jackknife sofas, a tri-fold sofa, and modular options. Sofa conversions, particularly, are a big hit with RVers, and the three stylish kiWW options have been designed to make going from lounging to sleeping easy.

Kathy explains, “We don’t limit the interior styles of homes, and for those of us who love RVing, our RV is our second home. So, why not bring your personal style to the only way to enjoy a mobile staycation? We’re bringing color, texture, and excitement.”
Learning from years of designing luxurious handmade leather furniture under one of the kiWW brands and keeping easy care in mind, a priority was to make sure the furniture is not only comfortable but ensuring that it will hold up to everyday use, whether it’s in a luxury motor- home, a small travel trailer, or a toy hauler. “Easy care is essential when you’re on an RV trip,” she says. “And pleather, like everything in our collections, is forgiving to stains from family members, spilled food, beverages, and pets.”
