In 2026, Forest River’s already expansive lineup of RVs is getting even bigger with the addition of the all-new Airelume travel trailer line. The brand says these sleek new models are the result of increased efforts to listen to customer needs and build towables designed to make camping as easy and effortless as possible. To that end, the company has introduced 11 floor plans under the Airelume banner, with options available for nearly every type of buyer and budget. And as you’ll see in the video above—which features the Airelume 270 layout—there is plenty to get excited about from these new rigs.

The first thing you’re likely to notice about any Airelume trailer is its modern-looking, aluminum exterior, which features a streamlined frame that includes an aerodynamic blue nose cap. Somehow, the design manages to be both minimalist and eye-catching at the same time, with more dashes of color to accent the sides of the rig, which are mostly colored in traditional RV white. Large windows are also prominently on display, allowing plenty of natural light to reach the interior, which is something that is increasingly more common in modern travel trailers.

Speaking of the interior, at first glance, it would be easy to dismiss the Airelume 270 floor plan as being fairly basic and uninteresting, especially in light of some other models we’ve seen recently. But look a little closer and you’ll discover a plethora of nice touches and hidden features that give this towable a personality of its own. We especially like the versatile dinette that sits adjacent to the “Luma Lounge” (aka the couch). As you’ll see in the video, the two pieces of furniture work together to expand the other’s space when one isn’t in use, making both better in the process.

There are plenty of other things we like about this rig, too. The kitchen is open and well-equipped, there is lots of storage throughout, and the shower is surprisingly large. This floor plan even comes with washer/dryer prep, solar prep, back-up camera prep, and other features that aren’t something you’d normally expect in a towable of this size and price point. For reference, the Airelume 270 stretches 33′ 7″ in length, has a GVWR of 8,505 lbs., and carries a price tag in the mid-$30,000 range. All in all, not too bad.
