Jayco’s 2021 Greyhawk 27U

A Class-C Motorhome that Earns an A

Image Caption:

Turn the key and go. That’s what Jayco promises of its all-new Class C motorhome: The Jayco Greyhawk 27U.

The Greyhawk 27U has a gross vehicle weight rating of 14,500 lbs. and is just shy of 30 feet in exterior length. It boasts a 7,500 lb. hitch with 750 lb. tongue capacity and 7-pin plug so feel free to tow along an extra vehicle or some motorsports.

The Greyhawk sits on a Ford E-450 Chassis and is powered by a 7.3L V-8 350 HP engine with 468 ft-lb of torque. This ensures you won’t have any issues garnering enough power to get you where you want to go on your upcoming travels.

In the driver’s seat, you’ll have the pleasure of operating with a 6-speed TorqShift transmission with overdrive, a tire pressure monitoring system as well as power anti-lock brakes with power steering.

Thanks to a backup camera and two side-view cameras you’ll no longer need to rely on your co-pilot or a campground friend’s help directing you into or out of a spot or deal with dangerous blind spots getting to your destinations.

 Exterior

The Greyhawk is built with an industry-exclusive, one-piece, seamless fiberglass front cap. This prevents road ware and water damage from becoming a problem and keeps your Greyhawk looking like new. This Class C also comes with a Stronghold VBL vacuum-bond laminated roof, floor, and sidewalls.

Lockable storage compartments with slam latches line the exterior of the motorhome and make packing and unpacking both easy and secure. And, every Greyhawk floorplan is available with two 11,000-BTU roof-installed air conditioners, a feature seldom found in its class and price range.

Stepping into the Jayco Greyhawk, you might just be convinced you’re actually stepping into a new build residential construction. That’s because the interior isn’t simply RV interior, it is true interior design. Jayco’s groundbreaking Modern Farmhouse interior design adds residential touches throughout, which makes the Greyhawk feel like home no matter where you take it.

Designers didn’t waste an inch of space in the highly functional Greyhawk kitchen. Details like a residential-sized microwave, flip-up countertop extension (select models), and integrated stainless steel kitchen sink with cutting board and grate sink cover make cooking on the go easy and enjoyable.

You’ll also have plenty of space to store groceries in the eight cubic foot gas/electric refrigerator and enjoy the style and structure of the hardwood cabinets and drawers. And, when you’re ready to sit down to eat, do so in the Jayco-exclusive, easy-operation legless dinette, which adds much-desired comfort and convenience.
