RV Medicine Cabinet: A Cool, Dry Place

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

I have a simple solution to keep stuff in the medicine cabinet when on the road. I bought small plastic containers that fit onto the shelf in the medicine cabinet to keep things from sliding around. The second part of my projext was to have the hardware store cut a piece of plexiglass to fit the dimensions of the medicine cabinet. A vertical spacer thickness must be cut exactly to fit between the plexiglass and the mirror. When you’ve accomplished this, lightly screw into the plexiglass. Now when you close the mirror, the plexiglass will be held firmly against the shelves because the spacers are on the outside (toward the mirror). The plexiglass also allows you to see if and where anything is likely to fall out.
