Toyota Plans More Hybrids
Toyota will launch another 10 hybrid-electric vehicles by the end
of this decade, according to its U.S. president and CEO. These may
include SUVs, pickups and minivans; however, not all of the new
fuel-saving models will be offered in the United States.
Gettin’ Sirius
Sirius satellite radio recently announced that it will broadcast
traffic reports from 22 major U.S. metropolitan areas starting this
November. Sirius will supply updated traffic information from data
provided by Navteq. Navteq gathers traffic information from police and
emergency services and road sensors to provide real-time information.
Airstream Introduces Quiksilver Bambi Edition
In partnership with the surf brand Quiksilver, Airstream has
introduced a new 16-foot Quiksilver Edition Bambi trailer. Limited to 50
customized units, top design features from both firms were selected.
