Duo-Therm's low profile AC/Heat Pump -
The "Penguin" cools and heats and it's only 9 - 1/2" high...

Cool off or warm up with Duo-Therm’s Penguin air conditioner.

The Penguin has 15,000 BTUs of cooling power and a sleek, low-profile for taller RVs and a more attractive rooftop.

The shroud is made of high-impact polystyrene and is available in shell white or polar white.

Operating as an air conditioner or heat pump, the Penguin operates entirely on 115-volt AC electricity, providing cost savings over LP-powered models.   The wiring requirements are the same as cool-only models.

It’s the same size and configuration as cool-only counterparts and fits the standard 14-inch roof vent opening for easy installation.

Works with air distribution box (ADB) or an in-ceiling ducting system.  New in 2004, look for Penguin models that operate with the heand-held convenience of remote control.

The control performs over 2 dozen functions, providing the ultimate in AC flexibility and convenience.  Penguin models range in power from 11,000, 13,500 and 15,000 BTUs.

There are cool only units, heat strip and heat pump options, plus a variety of thermostat choices.  When height is an issue, Duo-Therm's Penguin line by Dometic will have the answer.

The Duo-Therm Penguin model offers the most rooftop power at the lowest height - only 9.5 inches!  The 15,000 BTU unit show above has an optional 5 watt solar panel that can be ordered pre-installed.  It's a perfect way to keep your house batteries at full charge, and it's only about 1/4" tall and resists scratching and breakage from limbs or other hazards.

Brand new from Dometic, the Duo-Therm AC Remote control has a large, easy to read screen and puts the power right in your hand.
