Portable Freezers Also Refrigerate
Dual power with a dual purpose.

Dometic Corporation, well known in the RV industry for inventing the absorption cooling method found in most RVs, introduced two portable freezer units at a recent industry show.   The DC550 and DC400 both offer 2-way power selection (110V or 12V) and are sized perfectly for basement storage applications.   Specially designed to handle the rigors of the road, they each feature a rugged unibody molded case that utilizes high efficiency foam insulation to lock in the cold.   Each unit also has an adjustable thermostat that can be set to freeze or dialed back to operate like a refrigerator, making the units even more versatile!

The DC550 is the larger of the two units.   Its holding capacity is 2.0 cu.ft. and its exterior dimensions are 26-1/2”W x 20”H x 21”D.   It weighs 22 lbs and has double travel latches to secure the lid.  

The DC400 holds quite a bit as well at 1.5 cu.ft.   Its exterior size is 24”W x 19-3/4”H x 9-3/4”D.   It weighs in at just 15 lbs.
