RVers
can now reach their personal comfort zone by the touch of a button
with Dometic’s latest version of the DuoTherm Comfort Control
Center.
Changing
the settings is now easier with the Comfort Control’s Sure
Touch Control ™ . Pressing any button illuminates the LCD
display as well as the button itself, assuring the user that the
correct button has been selected. Another unique characteristic
of the unit is its Intelliset ™ capabilities. If power is
interrupted and then restored, the Comfort Control automatically
returns to the last mode of operation, sparing the frustration of
re-programming the unit to preferred settings. In addition, the
model can also be used with multiple appliances that can cool or
heat, which allows the RVer to set each Comfort Control Center Zone
at a different temperature providing the desired level of comfort.
Up
to four zones can be set. The zone one-button feature adds
to the list of standards on the original Comfort Control Center,
which includes: remote sensors that transmit temperature data back
to the control center; ease of installation; illuminated display;
across-the-board application, including rooftop air conditioners,
heat pumps, gas furnaces and electric heat strips.

An
optional feature links the Comfort Control Center with the unit’s
Automatic Generator Start (AGS). This feature allows the
Comfort Control Center to alert the AGS when the temperature setting
goes above or below the preset degree. Once the AGS is alerted,
it starts the generator, providing the necessary power to run the
air conditioner or heating system, which maintains the comfort level
of the vehicle.
