Orlando,
Florida Preserve
Located in the heart of Florida's orange grove country, this lushly
landscaped, 255-acre campground is the ideal place to explore endless
year-round recreation and relaxation. Make Thousand Trails' Orlando
Preserve your preferred winter escape.

Each
of the campgrounds is a quality mix of resort-style camping amenities
and outdoor recreation. The properties are known as "preserves"
because the nature and beauty of each are protected exclusively
for visitor's enjoyment. Each preserve is well maintained and completely
private with rangers on patrol for camper's comfort and security.
Accommodations include more than 730 campsites and 30 amenity-filled
camping cabins. Overflow sites are also available and extra services
include propane sales and RV storage.

The
Extended Vacation Program (EVP) is a popular feature for the wintertime
guests. EVP members can park their RVs year-round and can occupy
the lease sites 180 to 210 days a year. The preserve currently has
55 long-term sites, and accommodates RVs and park model trailers
on paved roads.
No
matter where you camp, the centralized amenities and activities
are within easy reach. From spending the day on the
lake, to relaxing in the Activity Center, there is something for
everybody at Thousand Trails.

Spend the days relaxing and enjoying the wonderful Florida weather
on beautiful Lake Hancock. Enjoy the bountiful lakeside amenities,
where fishing, canoeing and row boating are regular activities.
This 60-acre spring-fed lake has an easy-to-access boat ramp and
a white sandy beach -- perfect for soaking up the sun.
The
Activities Center is a great gathering place and is equipped with
modern conveniences, making it seem more like home. Take a break
in the video and game room or play a game of pool in the billiard
room.
Around the corner from the Activities Center, visitors can enjoy
the crystal clear swimming pool and lounge on the spacious deck.
Well-kept tennis courts and the shaded miniature-golf course also
see steady use.
After
relaxing at the preserve, visitors will be ready to tackle visiting
the many attractions Orlando has to offer. Both the Atlantic
and Gulf Coasts are only an hour's drive away, and there is a
large selection of local golf courses for the golf enthusiast
to choose from. Also, two nice state parks - Wekiwa Springs
(Apopka, 60 miles) and Tosohatchee State Reserve (St. Augustine,
100 miles) are close enough for a day adventure.
Within
10 miles of the preserve, visitors can find the premier Orlando
attractions of the Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center and MGM Studios.
SeaWorld and Universal Studios are also just a few extra minutes
away.
The Thousand Trails Orlando preserve is the perfect winter and
year-round vacation destination!
